The Bluebonnet Fest is one of La Vernia and Wilson County’s most anticipated festival and live music events. Each year the La Vernia Lions Club sponsors the event starting with the Miss La Vernia Pageant and ending with the Festival held at the City Park. The newly crowned Miss La Vernia and her Court lead a parade, which includes floats from local and surrounding area businesses, youth organizations and clubs. The kids can enjoy a carnival, a free petting zoo and free pony rides. There will be arts & crafts vendors, all the festival foods you know you love and crave, a live auction, a raffle and
maybe even a Wild West Show.

Both days end with a dance under the stars featuring Jack Higginbotham on Friday and Clint Taft and the Buck Wild Band on Saturday.

Proceeds from this event help fund our many charitable contributions.
